This trailer is a project from my time at SCAD, working with Professor Dominique May Elliott during my major in Motion Media Design.

Research:

The Film Society of Lincoln Center, founded in 1969 to support emerging filmmakers, hosts annual programs featuring new international films, drawing over 200,000 movie enthusiasts, directors, and crews. Renowned for events like the New York Film Festival and New Directors/New Films, this trailer is inspired by their impactful work since 1963.

The society collaborates with various festivals, including the New York Jewish Film Festival, Dance on Camera Festival, Film Comment selects, Rendez-vous with French Cinema, New Directors/New Films Festival, The New York African Film Festival, Open Roads: New Italian Cinema, Human Rights Watch Film Festival, New York Asian Film Festival, Latinbeat, NewFest, Mountainfilm, Scary Movies, Romanian Film Festival and Spanish Cinema Now. .

Concept:

Opening with New York streets, the first frame zooms out to reveal the entire cityscape. The 3D orange logotype of the Film Society Lincoln Center emerges from the buildings, seamlessly merging with the city. The logotype then integrates closely with NYC buildings in a detailed close-up view.
